Information
This
course meets the requirements for membership of the Hydraulic
Consultants Association of Australia. The aims are to develop skills
for persons to become hydraulic consultants with the expertise in
plumbing technology, plumbing services design, engineering drafting
(CAD), supervision and management.
Entry
requirements
Direct
entry: Persons who are in the workforce from related or non-related
industry wishing to enter the industry or to change careers.
Requires equivalent academic capability to SACE Stage 2 with passes
in mathematics and science or equivalent. Automatic entry:
Completion of Certificate in Plumbing and successful completion of
designated modules from the Advanced Certificate in Plumbing
equivalent to 456-500 hours.
Employment
opportunities
On
successful completion of the course, the learner will have developed
the skills and knowledge to:
Manage a modern plumbing service/ design of hydraulic consulting
business
Plan and produce plumbing service designs associated with large,
commercial, industrial and residential complexes.
